The word “chakra” is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel”, which is what you immediately become aware of when you first encounter this energy form. The term chakra dates back to the dawn of humanity, but this information was kept secret and taught to a few who had embarked on learning the mysteries of life and of the self.
Each chakra is an energy system, vortex or source-point within the body, and they occur on various levels, be it physical or within the auric field. There are literally thousands of these points throughout the physical and energetic bodies. Each plays a vital role and is unique to the individual. Here are some descriptions of the chakras and their function within your system.
These chakras, or energy portals, are situated in and around the physical body; some are "mirrored" within the various subtle bodies. The spectrums of these chakras vary and may have singular or complex duties related to your own individual cosmic make-up and life purpose.
Each chakra is spaced according to a specific mathematical equation that totals a specific sacred number, and some reside on the inside of a specific field within your aura, some on the outer edge of your aura.
A grid attaches each chakra to a specific sequence that resonates and pulses specific vibrations (holographic codes). These systems within systems overlap at times with other levels and dimensions within you. Chakras of your present self may communicate to your past, parallel or present Self at any given time.
This holographic grid of chakras may be understood as a circuitry, and this sequence is within all aspects of the cosmos and we are all interconnected and within the Oneness. Therefore are we really so different from each other? It does not make a difference where each of us comes from, which part of the galaxy you may call your home, which part of the continent or world you reside in - we are All.
The ability to locate and work with chakras is not given to just a few spiritually enlightened souls. Everyone has the ability to view, feel, awaken and even consciously interact with their own uniquely coded chakras, or their own inter-dimensional grid system.
The seven chakras that are most well-known are the ones starting at the root, being the first, and going up to the crown being the seventh. But there are many other chakras, both back and front.
The front chakras deal with what is present in your life. The back chakras deal with what is to still arrive in your life and they are also significators of the karma that you need to explore and address. As each chakra shifts, you shift an aspect of yourself and healing occurs. Once this is done, then the next imbalance surfaces to be dealt with, and so on. In shifting the old out, and awakening the newness within, one undergoes the process of assisting yourself to evolve, hence the ascension process awakens within you.
Aside from the seven main chakras, there are the higher chakras above the crown (chakras eight to 18) which are elevated towards the Higher Self or Super Consciousness. Then there are 11 chakras below the main root chakra. These other chakras proceed in a straight line past your feet and extend downwards.
All Chakras that run through the seven main chakras are all connected via a “tube” which is or should be a golden Colour. For some beings of very high frequency, it can be a clear or crystal colour and some may even hold the diamond frequency but, as explained all this depends on your own unique individual make up.

Chakras have the potential to alter your life if you choose or allow this to happen. You have the power to change not only yourself in your present life, but to change the consciousness of your surroundings, and of your future lives.
Using various breathing techniques, you are able to awaken, open and close specific chakras and Nadis yourself. There are 72000 Nadis, which are subtle channels of energy that are rooted within the spinal cord, and project outwards from the spinal cord.
1st Chakra: Root chakra
- Element: Earth
- Location: At the tail bone
- Colour: Red (for now. These are going to change in the future)

- Meridians: Stomach - Earth Energy (Yang); Spleen - Earth Energy (Yin)
- Associated to the Kundalini Fire Energy.
- Glands/Organs: adrenals, kidneys, spinal column, colon, legs, bones.
- Illnesses: anaemia, cancer, arthritis, drug addiction, heart, gynaecological problems, AIDS, herpes, Candida.
- Deficient: lack of confidence, weakness, can’t achieve goals, suicidal, feel unloved, little interest in sex, masochistic
- Excessive: egotistic, domineering, greedy, sadistic, extreme sexual energy, entirely genital
- Balanced: centred, grounded, healthy, alive, unlimited physical energy, can manifest abundance
2nd Chakra: Sacral chakra

- Glands and organs: Skin, kidneys, mammary glands, ovaries, testicles, prostate, spleen.
- Illnesses: Kidney weakness, constipation, muscle cramps, lack of energy, allergies, repression and inhibition, weight loss.
- Deficient: Shy, timid, immobilized by fear, overly sensitive, self negating, burdened by guilt, sexual energy clinging, guilt related to sex, abuse, frigid, impotent
- Excessive: Emotionally explosive, overly ambitious, manipulative, living illusion/s, overindulge, over sexed, excessive sexual energy (imbalance)

- Glands and organs: Diaphragm, breath, adrenals, skin, digestive, organs, pancreas, gall bladder, liver
- Illnesses: Digestive difficulties, gas, food allergies, liver, diabetes, gall stones, over-sexed, spasm, muscle cramps, depression, difficulty in breathing, connection
- Deficient: Depressed, lacking confidence, concerned and worried about what others think and say, poor digestion, afraid in being alone, insecure sexual addiction (needy), need to be constantly reassured, distrustful, jealous.
- Excessive: Judgmental, workaholic, perfectionist, intellectual (excess).
- Balanced: Outgoing, cheerful, self-respect, respect others, strong sense of personal power, intelligent, skillful, spontaneous, expressive, enjoy physical activities, enjoy good food, relaxed, when this chakra is open you have found your unique gift/s. In martial arts, the centre of Chi/Life Force is considered within this chakra.
4th Chakra: Heart chakra

- Glands and organs: Heart, lungs, immune system, thymus gland, lymphs.
- Illnesses: Heart related illnesses i.e. pain, attack, high blood pressure, negativity, fatigue, breathing problems, tension, insomnia, anger, cancer, paranoia.
- Deficient: Feeling sorry for self, indecisive, afraid of letting go, no freedom, feeling unworthy, can’t reach out, terrified of rejection, low self esteem, need constant reassurance.
- Excessive: Demanding, overly critical, possessive, moody, melodramatic, manic-depressive, use money or se to control people, manipulators, martyrs.
- Balanced: Compassionate, empathetic, humanitarian, se good in all/everyone, desire to nurture others, friendly, outgoing, in touch with feelings, waits for right partner, sex is secondary.
5th Chakra: Throat chakra

- Glands and organs: Thyroid, parathyroid, throat, mouth, teeth.
- Illnesses: Heart related illnesses i.e. pain, attack, high blood pressure, negativity, fatigue, breathing problems, tension, insomnia, anger, cancer, paranoia.
- Deficient: Timid, scared, devious, hold back, quite, inconsistent, unreliable, manipulative, unable to express thoughts, conflict felt in religious beliefs programmed/conditioned, some fear sexual intercourse, weak.
- Excessive: Arrogant, self-righteous, talk too much, dogmatic, macho, addict/addictive, prefers to be dominated, sense of aggressiveness.
- Balanced: Contentment, centred, able to live in the present, good speaker, sense of timing, sexual energy, when meditating able to experience bliss, artistic, inter-dimensional communication subtle or not, sound, speech, vibration, creativity, inspiration. As you shift to greater consciousnesses so will new experiences and friends enter your path of evolutionary expansion.
6th Chakra: 3rd Eye/Brow chakra
- Element = Light
- Colour: Indigo - Christ Consciousness
- Location: between the eyes, at the back base of skull.
- Tone: OM (O represents Sun - M represents Moon)
- Sense: Thought
- Glands and organs: Pineal, pituitary, brain, eyes, ears, nose.
- Illnesses: Heart related illnesses i.e. pain, attack, high blood pressure, negativity, fatigue, breathing problems, tension, insomnia, anger, cancer, paranoia.
- Deficient: Non-assertive, undisciplined, over sensitive to feelings of others, afraid of success, schizophrenic (unable to differentiate between Higher Self & ego self).
- Excessive: Egomaniac, proud, manipulative, religiously dogmatic, thrive on being authority figure.
- Balanced: Charismatic, not attached to material things, does not fear death, receives guidance easily, Mastering Self, non reliant on others to feel and become complete, sexual energy/contact/interaction not necessary. Centre of psychic powers, higher intuition, guidance received by Divine Self and other celestials, channelling, telepathy, astral travel, past lives, medium, awareness.
7th Chakra: Crown chakra

- Colour: Violet & Gold
- Location: Top of head
- Tone: Ee
- Tone: high b#
- Sense: Seventh Sense
- Glands and organs: Pituitary, pineal, nervous system, brain, cerebral cortex, right eye
- Illnesses: Hysteria, stress, worry, right-left brain balance, headache, depression.
- Deficient: No spark of joy, unable to make decisions, catatonic.
- Excessive: Feeling frustrated often/constantly, unrealised power, depressive, psychotic, migraine headaches, destructive, sexual expression, can be distant, can be passionate at times, manic depressive.
- Balanced: Miracle worker, able to transcend the laws of nature, unlimited access to unconscious and subconscious. Amazing to view/see when it is fully awakened, it contains a secondary central whirlpool. Life force also enters this point into the chakra system. It also emits an energy light wearing a halo, the tradition that enlightened or prominent figures would wear a crown is symbolic derives from. When this chakra is misaligned it can cause spiritual poverty, low energy all the time, poor reality, self centeredness.
